Cannot boot up

Hello, my comp has many viruses and i recently removed SP2 before i attempted to reformat. When i try to boot back into windows xp it shows the loading screen then restarts again :confused:
I cant even use the keyboard when i try to boot from a cd (XP cd) or floppy disk to re-create the partition. The keyboard seems to lock during boot up.

is there any way to reset the hard drive so i can re-install XP?

Test another Keyboard, Do a Clean Reformat.

In BIOS Boot from cd and Cd only. get into the bios and delete the partition with windows on it (to delete i belieeve it was L and then Enter) then re-install. This will get rid of virus's and hopefully fix your problem
