Cannot Delete Picture from Folder

I downloaded this picture of a music artist on Limewire and when it got done, It said the file was corrupt. Now, the picture file just sits in my doc folder and when i click on delete button, It doesnt do anything nor can i delete or move it to another location. When I open the file, it says "No Preview Available"... Does anyone know how to erase these type of files????

rename it "a"

It wont even let me do that. My choices are Preview, Print, Edit, Open With and Send to.

well, it's got an illegal filename, it was most lilkely created with a mac or linux

i don't really remember how to remove files like that, typically you can rename them, if not with explorer than in nero, or some other program that lets you browse files on your computer

you have to rename the FOLDER

rename the folder to something short temporarily, and then you should be able to delete the file

rename the folder to "new" or "1" or something, and then you should be able to delete the file

don't know, just google for illegal filename

there's probably a tool or something that will allow you to remove the file upon bootup

can you just move the rest of the files in the folder to another directory, and then delete the folder?

try booting into safe mode and deleting it.
what is the file ext.

just get a file shredder. google it. you'll be able to delete it with that
