Cannot download any files

I use Firefox and I have tried IE7 and I still connot download anything. I have tried changing it to go to my desktop to no avail. Can anyone help?

I'll try.
When I click download on a sendspace file (or any for that matter) the file appears to be downloading in my download window on FF but if I try to open it, or look for the file, it is nowhere to be found. The same happens with IE7.

I cant understand ur problem. May be u can try using a download manager like orbit or stardownloader.

idk what would cause that, i mean unless ur on some sort of restricted account or ur closing the download box before it finishes downloading

I think that the problem is not with your web browsers but it is with your PC.
Reinstallation may fix this problem..

If I was to uninstall FF then I wouldn't be able to install it again using IE7 because that won't let me download.

hmm have you tried creating a new user account? switch to it and see if u can still download it if it still doesnt work try uninstalling w/e you use internet explorer or firefox if not...maybe reinstall windows
