Cannot run software downloaded from Laplace instruments website

Hi,
I have downloaded and installed the "EMC engineer software" from the top of the following web page...

However, it wont run as it gives the attached error message.
Do you know how i can solve this so that i can run the software?

Probably something wrong with the installer. Contact the company.

Thanks i cannot contact them, as they no longer trade.
I have got access to the usbi2cio.dll file, but when i click it, it says its a system file and editing or modifying it may damage the operating system, so i am scared to do anything with it...not that i know what to do with it anyway.

You don't run DLL files. Applications just reference them to perform different tasks. Just drop it where it needs to go.
