Cannot sign in to amazon.co.uk because i dont have a smartphone

Hi,
How can i sign in to amazon.co.uk?
When i try, it sends me a website as a text message to my "bar of soap" phone.
(i dont have a smartphone).
It tells me to "tap" it...but i cant do that because i dont have a smart phone.
Is there another way?...the amazon website doesnt help with this.

Smart phones are useless to me.....because i read lots of component datasheets...and you cant do that on a small smartphone screen....so my internet payments go to my mobile router provider, which is EE

How to call someone on Whatsapp?

Hi, Someone has asked me to call them on "whatsapp" or "whatsapp only". They have given me the number. I dont have a smartphone. So how do i do this? I have a laptop, and a small "bar of soap" phone.

Thanks, I downloaded WhatsApp from Bluestacks. However, i still cant sign in to Amazon.
Amazon still sends me a long website address to my simple "bar of soap" phone.
Do you mean that i could somehow access this message via WhatsApp?, or via Bluestacks?...then i can click this web address there?

I can't help but chuckle at "Smartphones are useless to me" on a thread that is having issues because you don't have a smartphone. Clearly they're not useless.

Anyway, this is a question for Amazon support. That said I would expect they have a way to let you send a code via SMS rather than a full blown link.
