I just got this scanner but i cannot install the driver.I search automatically and it fails.I search manually and the oly location it searches for driver is "C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS"..so i tried placing the cab files over there but nah.nothing. i install it automatically and restarted the PC but still after boot it asks me for driver...what the F**k is doing this ? i really need to use this

Did the scanner not come with a driver disk?

What driver are you trying to install? Have you been using CanoScan Toolbox (4.1.3.5) and even ScanGear CS (7.0.3.0)?
