I'm a pretty comp savy dude so I've checked most things that you would think of...
right now one of the computers on my network cannot access the internet at all, but can connect to the other computers fine. all the other computers can use the internet like normal.
i notice that when i view my network connections, both of the connections say "connected" with no problems. windows doesnt even report there being a problem (no pop ups, no system tray icon for an issue). also i checked device drivers for any new missing drivers that might be causing this but everything looks like it's supposed to.
my comp's an xp, i dont have antivirus installed right not (about to once i solve this) and the windows firewall is disabled, no firewall issue here. also when i go to local area connection properties all components are checked (enabled)
i'm really lost at this point...i tried unplugging my modem, and all routers (we have 4) and restarting comp, all in an order that would make sense (plug in modem, then routers in order, then restarted comp)
i'd be extremely grateful if anyone could help me solve this major pain! i might even let whoever it might be use one of my numerous rapidshare premium accounts for a while as a token of appreciation lol
edit: ive also tried re-installing the drivers my computer needs to connect to networks and the internet. also have tried connecting to my network all over again for the hell of it.
