I its_jon New Member May 18, 2006 #3 fixed it. the drive was oem and as a result came without the drive tools floppy. A tweak tool can be downloaded from hitachi's site which you boot into. Allows you to turn on quiet mode, transfer settings, S M A R T and sataII 3G.
