Cant connect Client to DNS

Ive set up a 2012R2 server and installed the roles AD/DS and DNS . When i tried changing the name of the domain on my Win7 client im prompted with this.



Heres proof of the roles installed.


I know the name of my domain and I know i set it up correctly. My friend says it could be my router combo. Not sure what to check or do from here.

Please Help

What's the reference for DNS that the client has? It looks like the server is using a DHCP address..
