Hi,
I recently set up a new wireless network (had to change routers) and I set it to use WPA-PSK security and I cant connect to it with my laptop. When I set it up as an unsecured network, I can connect to it without any problems but when I change it back to WPA-PSK, it doesnt connect. Im using the right passphrase, I even managed to connect to it with another laptop (although it connected only with the 3rd time).. What should I do? I dont want to leave my wireless network unsecured.

Wireless adaptors can work with different types of securities even when being new. Switch the router's config to WEP and you should be able to connect.

Unless you have a pretty knowledgable hacker near you, there is nothing to worry about.

If you set it to a 128 bit 26 hexadecimal key, that would be more secure if you feel like 64 bit isn't enough. But yeah, WEP should do you just good.
