My sister's pc is screwed! She is "technically crippled" so I always help her with pc issues. From what she described, it definitely sounds like malware/adware or whatever spy crap is out there. I can't get onto the internet to fix this problem. I talked with Verizon FIOS tech support, and the internet connection is working but I can't work the problem. Even if I click on "Help and Support", I get a message saying that it is unable to be used. There were other error messages stating that I had network issues. I can't even do a "system restore" because there were NO dates or points in time available for me to choose from. Everything is frozen. As of yesterday, her pc said that she had4 days to renew Windows Live Care One so I uninstalled it and tried to activate Norton Internet Security, but I couldn't because it needed the internet to activate. I even tried to reinstall "Live One Care". Didn't work. How am I going to fix this? And by the way, the people out there in the world that create viruses should be shot. It would be nice if they used their intelligence in a positive way. Anyway, someone please help me.
