Can't create MP3 in DVD disc

Hello all. I recently copied out my MP3 onto DVD's but I can't play the MP3 on my stereo except my computer. I created the MP3 files using Nero 6.0. I know it is supposed to be a straight forward creation but then where did I go wrong. Please help.

Hey does your stereo read DVD's? cuz that might be the problem.

This could be 2 problems.
1- Your stereo doesn't read DVDs.
2- Your stereo doesn't support MP3 playback.
