he's looking at the 560ti 448 core not the 560ti, and for the money a gtx 570 is slightly better than the 6970.

in my opinion the GTX 560 ti 448 core is just silly, go for a regular 560 ti or get a 570, no point in the 448!

I recommend the 570, definatly!
(The asus edition is my personal preference)

How ever this thing is huge and takes up 3 slot spaces! so wether your case can fit it and your motherboard has enough other slots for sound, wireless and other expansion cards is up to your choice!

so yeh GTX all the way!

Why not wait for the upcomming 7 series?

Id like to say GTX 560 448,But from what i can see the current models only has 1.2Gb of Vram?

As for 6950-6970,I dont think the price diffrence between them is worth the extra....the 6970 does not really perform all that much better to be honest.

When does the 7 series come out? My gpu died on me recently so I dont want to wait too long. And are you saying 6950 will perform about the same as a 6970?

not the same, but not enough difference to warrant buying a 6970.

I would say the 560ti-448, but that is just in the area of performance (i assume it is near the 570 at lower prices, like a 565), and driver stability. Also, if you plan to use a Linux OS at any point, you [retty much have to go with Nvidia for a dedicated card. AMD integrated is fine in Linux, but their PCIe x16 cards have limited success on the best days.

if your in the market for a 560Ti 448 core, get the 570 just from the standpoint its not a limited run card, and it costs at most 30 bucks more for the 570
