should i upgrade my computer to vista?
i have every version and, if i do do the upgrade which version should i use?
 
I wouldn't.

I have had the up grade disk for 6 months and I still wont install it. Maybe after they release the service pack that is due out after the first of the year.

It's not that bad... There's quite a few of us running it. Just be prepared for a few quirks, i.e. the Nvidia driver that would stop working, then recover with almost no apparent reason. But thats fixed now, for me anyway! :D

And as everyone else said, don't put Vista on your free computer :P
 
vista uses 512mb ram minimum. if you only have 700mb in it now, it'll run very slowly.

if the pc had 2gb of ram, it'd run vista fine.

and...erm...any hints on how i can get all kinds of stuff to build my pc for free? :P
