Can't decide

Hey guys.

I'm building a computer for my first time. I haven't got much experience in computer components. However, this is what I'm planning to get:

Case: Advance 8808KP KAPPA
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA780G-UD3H
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 940 - 3 GHz, cache L3 6 Mb, socket AM2+ - Black Edition
PSU: ADVANCE PC PSU EA4G-750 750W
HDD: 320GB Samsung SpinPoint T HD322HJ
RAM: OCZ Gold Edition Dual Channel 2 x 2 Gb DDR2-1066 PC2-8500 CL5
Optical Drive: SAMSUNG Intern brännare DVD±RW 16x SH-S223B
And the screen I'm planning to get is a 24" 2ms 1920x1200.

Now, I'm struggling with the graphic card... I have about 2000SEK left (about $280). I can either choose a HD4890, GTX 260+ or GTX 275... I think the motherboard supports Crossfire - If it does (can anyone check), is it best to get the HD4890? Because anytime in the future I'd like to upgrade, I can just buy another HD4890 and Crossfire it. I've checked out some benchmarks, and it seems like the HD4890 beats the GTX260 in almost every game.

One more thing; I'm kinda afraid of is the HD4890 overheating - no, I wont be overclocking if it's dangerous. But I heard it's like 90 C when playing. Is it safe?

Thanks.

If you have sufficient case cooling the 4890 shouldnt get past say, 70-75C, 90C is probably with very poor case cooling

Your board supports CFX, by all means go for the 4890, but you may need a case with more capacity for fans, the 4890 can get toasty by itself let alone with two

They're more expensive then the one you picked but multiple GPUs output a fair amount of heat

Why not go with 2 4850s? ... Im sorry i cant really read that website but if you can have more then one GPU get 2 4850s and it will bet both of 1 of those cards. Plus i think there only 90 to 110 for the cars right now

Thanks for your replies.

The 4850X2 costs the same as the HD4890, and really I don't have much left to spend.
As for the case, I checked them out and I really love the Antec 900, it has alot of space and four fans... but it's $80 more. And Thanks for the confirmation, the mobo supports Crossfire yay!

Edit: I'm getting the Antec 900. I changed my mind for the mobo... I'm getting SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGY PURE CrossFireX 790GX - Socket AM2+ / AM2 - Chipset AMD 790GX/SB750 - ATX. Guys, I need one confirmation that everything would fit together, thanks.

Ohh and one more question, do I need to buy a network card for the connection?
