Can't delete that file!

How do I delete a file that doesn't want to be deleted?! I get an error message saying it is being used by another program! The only program I had open was windows explorer. How do I fix this?

If restarting your computer doesn't allow you to erase it, try booting to safe mode.

Tried killbox then restarted and its ok now

Also, another way that I have found effective just in case anyone wants to know is a program called Unlocker. Very handy, go check it out

Yea Unlocker will do the trick for you.
It automatically pops up whenever something like this happens

you can also open up task manager and kill every user process except for explorer and then try to delete it that way. If its a system process that is using it, you probably don't want to delete it right away.
