cant enter BIOS setup

hello all
I have win xp and red hat 9.0 on my computer,now i want to remove the red hat and install the KBuntu, but the problem is that i am not able to boot up from CD, the Grub is booting first
also when Iput the XP cd or the linux CD , the GRUB loader is being loaded
any help

I don't have much experience with GRUB, but to my knowledge the BIOS should be accessed before it goes to the MBR which contains the first stage of GRUB.

What you may have to try is removing the CMOS battery so that it won't load anything. BIOS will be neutral. And you may be able to enter it.
