cant find 7800GS CO drivers

Ok, so ive just bought this used e-GeforceGS CO 256mb graphics card, Ive got it plugged in, but the display on my screen is horrible.. its really choppy when scrolling up and down pages, and the refresh rate is bad too. I cant change it...
Ive tried searching for the drivers everywhere on the net but I cant find any for it...
Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be

When you have an NVidia chip on a card where do you go? The driver section at http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp is one place to start. You simply enter the type of product, model series. and the version of Windows you are currently running. If the model is too old for the list there other sites like driverguide.com can also be a help.

ya Ive tried that driver download but when I go to install it says "The NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

I found something else out too. Under monitor properties and settings, I cant view any specs about the card, Nothing, I was able too with my previous one..
oh man Im starting to think its acctually broken.

Its the EVGA GeForce 7800 GS CO Edition (AGP 8x, 256MB) model # 256-A8-N506-AX

When going by that model number the last update for the 7800/7900 series notebook cards is seen at http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_mobile_84.63.html for XP/2000. That was the july 2006 version seen there.
