I had a computer crash today, and could not get pc to boot, had to reset Mobo and started to re install windows Vista Business 64 bit when I realized it was trying to install on the wrong internal drive, I fixed the C: drive but my F drive is now gone, I can see my other internal the E drive but no F drive which has all my photos.

I caught the mistake when I saw there were only 300 gigs of remaining space on the drive, and its a 1 TB drive, I realized it was a storage drive not the OS drive.

Disk management does not see the drive, how can I get it back?

Did you just shut down the computer when you realized it was installing on the wrong drive? Shutting down mid-format would corrupt the data, so unless you're looking to spend thousands on data recovery, the information on F is probably lost.

As for getting the hard drive working again, try going into Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disc Management and initializing/formatting the 1TB drive.
