Here are the three different chipsets that I want.....I am not a fan of the 6 series from Nvidia, i just like the FX's, so does anybody know a good site other than newegg where i can find these chipsets? (newegg doesnt have them)

GeForce FX 5700 Ultra
GeForce FX 5900 XT
GeForce FX 5950 Ultra

Any FX below the 5950 isn't worth it's weight in........well anything. If you want a good card and don't really wanna upgrade ever (and have the money to blow) just spring for the 6800GT or the X800. Both are good cards in my opinion for what they do (Nvidia for OGL and ATI for DX).

GeForce FX 5950 Ultra could only fine it for $516
Yeah, but it qualifies for free shipping all by itself :D

@Sloth311 - why not the 6 series? The heat problem with the one 6600GT scare you away? Cooling is a manufacturer specific item so not all 6600s will have a problem if thats what you're worried about.

yeah ive just heard alot about the heatsink GPU problem thing.....VP never did find out what the eff is with his 6600gt

also i dont care what benchmark you guys are looking at.....i have seen a 5950 ultra in action and i seriously was mildly erect, totally kidding.........but seriously 5950 ultra is sexy as hell

Yes the 5950 is a seriously fast card despite what many people think. Hovewer the above posters are right, please reconsider the 6600GT as it's a much better buy. :)

You sure about that? The 5700Ultra and 5700LE are damn nice for their price tag

.
The problem is generally recognized across the NV43 line however some are just worse than others ... ive not found a counterexample (i.e., a card that had superb cooling etc) ... since they mostly use 2pin HSF connectors ... of course if you spring for a NV silencer....

Yes but clock speed doesnt mean a world of difference .... at least not between NV3x and NV4x

I wasn't going by pricetag, I was going by general gameplay and preformance. Most of the FX series had horrible preformace because they were 64 bit cards. (IMO)

They were? ;)

They had 128Bit membus width including the 5800 known as the vacum cleaner which also had DDRII memory. The 5800's main competitor at the time was Ati's 9700Pro with it's 256Bit memorybus width.
