cant get google chrome to load

i have google chrome somewhere on my computer at least i have an icon on my screen.

but when i hit that nothing happens. anyone out there that can tell me what i need to do. i had it once.

Try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.

Make sure you have the most recent version 29.0.1547.32
