Cant get logitech rumble pad working in ubuntu

I need help, im trying to use VBA and i cant get my controller working, i can find it in lsusb but i cant configure the buttons

Can someone please help me
 
go into your ubuntu software center and download the joystick drivers and then if it does not work it might just not be compatible or the game does not recognize that joy stick config.
 
Well once you install the driver you configure it in the game which will show you if the open source driver is compatible. If you tell me the exact model of game pad I will see if there are drivers available to install via terminal.
