Im on NTL 1mb at the moment. I didnt install the modem or anything just connected the modem to my PC with a ethernet cable. So it installed the modem and detected a internet signal and away i go.
Anyways i cant seem to get on some sites like : www.averm.co.uk and www.pricegrabber.co.uk i know they work because ive just gave the links to a few people on MSN and they say they work but all i get is page cannot be displayed. This has been going on ever since NTL moved me from 300k to 1mb about 2months ago.
I tried to install broadband from the NTL BB cd but when its backing up the registry it crashes and the programme closes down (I get a error about vTruck needs to close down or something). Can anyone help ?
