Ok I have the cod2demo file on my desktop. I tried to delete it recently and it says it cant because the file is in use by another program or user. I also tried rebooting and starting in safe mode and deleting it but I get the same error. Also when I go to properties it says the file is 0k but I cant get rid of it. Any ideas?

are you deleteing it from the user thats the administrator? have you already gone to add/remove programs and deleted the demo that way?

I take it you've made sure that the file isn't running in the Task Manager.

Also can I have the name of the .exe file you are trying to remove please.
Thanks.

Yes I did that and it wasnt running. Did what you suggested Blue and restarted the computer with just Command Prompt and was able to delete it that way. Thanks for the help.:)
