Can't get rid of all the malware on my computer.

Hi, I used Avast to get rid of the viruses on my computer. It got rid of most, butnot all.

So then I used Malwarebytes and it got rid of more but not all.

I downloaded HijackThis but it won't let me scan or save a logfile.

What should I do?

What happens when you try to run hijackthis?

Please do the following but first please disable AVAST's shields by right clicking on avast icon in system tray and click on shields control and choose disable permanently until we are done.

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

• Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
