I recently installed a dual boot Vista and Ubuntu. I decided to sell my laptop and ran the system recovery CD supplied with my laptop (that installs the OS, sets up partitions, etc.). It ran through the whole process and it won't boot because the GRUB loader is still there and can't find the proper stuff. I can't boot from the Vista CD and run fixMBR or anything because its a restore CD. Any ideas how I can remove that GRUB??
