anyone know how to get this to work?

I see you have an exclamation point over your display adapter. That means you are having a driver issue. Right click on the display adapter and see what it says.

What I would do is reinstall the driver for that adapter. Go to the website of your computer manufacture, or motherboard manufacture and get the newest drivers for it.

It also looks like you are having a problem with your network adapter. Do the same thing, download and install the drivers for it.

Is this a pre built system? Let us know who built the computer, or made the motherboard. List the model number of either.

It says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."

I have reinstalled the driver multiple times that i downloaded from this website"http://support.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-020683.htm

Did you try uninstalling the display adapter? If not, right click on the adapter in the device manager and click on uninstall. Reboot and let it reinstall the drivers. Or tell it where the newest driver is for the device and let it install from there.

Since on board video sucks anyways, you might consider just upgrading to a new video card. Just about anything you put in will be better than the one that's installed on your motherboard.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled like 20 times. and i cant get a new video card till christmas. so i would love to get this onboard one to work right

Have you contacted emachines help desk? I think they have some software that comes installed on your computer that allows them to trouble shoot your problem.

they do but my computer came with vista installed on it, i took that off and put windows xp on it so i dont think they can help me like that anymore
