I cant seem to oc my processor to 3ghz :(

rig is in sig

cant change the multi to 9x

fsb = + 0.1v
chipset = +0.1v
cpu = 1.3750

i have it set to (333x8) to sync with ram

help plz

I don't suppose you can drop the RAM multiplier any further? I'd give the RAM 2.0V and see what that will let you get to.

jack up the CPU vocre to 1.4

vcore is usually the problem

why cant you change your multiplier to 9x? thats what it is at stock

didnt say that,

whats the safety range for a core2duo. im expecting like 4-5 years outta this thing

voltage wise?

its really the temps you get

i say like 60C on full load tops is the limit

it will last a long time, dont worry

uh yeah!!

holy cow, 37 load!!!

20 idle!!! how?? do you live in an iceberg?? lol what the heck is your ambient?

what are you using to load your CPU?

i dont know lol, room is 20C, the freezer 7 seems to be doing well, but i think its mostly because there is a 120mm fan venting like 2cm away from it and the 140mm from my psu venting it.

i loaded it with 2X prime95, then 2X cpu burn in with error checking disabled

ok at 1.4375v

28c/44c ---> from speedfan
24c/39c---->from mobo hardware monit

i dont know who to trust :confused: :rolleyes:

Get yourself the Intel TAT.
And, it might be easier to use Orthos rather than Prime. Orthos is 2x Prime in one package, so you don't have to fiddle with affinities or anything. It will do it automatically for you.

TAT is sensing my processor at 62C load, but thinks its a pentium M, im kind of confused

hardware monitor is reporting it as 47C load using intel application to load both cores, i think thats more accurate

TAT is good for load, not for monitoring temps. Well, I got where I am with stock power to the CPU. All I really add voltage to is the GMH. by .1V worked like a charm!
