Can't install 8600m GT drivers?

For some reason, my Inspiron 1520 won't let me load the drivers for the 8600m GT. It says something about correct drivers not found. Anyone got Suggestion?

Are you using the drivers directly off of nVidia's site?

If you're using the ones off Dell's site, try the ones from Nvidia. Or vise-versa.

I think the drivers you are trying to load supports only upto 7 series.Try find and download the drivers which supports 8 series also.

Solved it. I went to laptopvideo2go and download the drivers with a modded inf thingy.
