cant install integrated or discrete gpu drivers!?

I started having the nvidia driver give me problems, cutting out randomly.. till the system became unbootable. did a fresh install on a different hardrive.. if i install ANY graphics drivers, it becomes unbootable and i get a system_service_exception 0x0000003b bsod. help please whats broken? part of the mobo? help please, thanks x

I did memtest+, no problem. tested various other hard drives.. same problem with them all.

Can you list your specific parts like what motherboard, video card, memory, power supply?

I would say its a mobo issue. What version of the bios are you running? The latest is F9.

yeah, i cant think of anything else. still, gonna have to burn money at a computer repair shop to diagnose it just in case, damn.

Unless there are any good motherboard testing programs? never heard of such a thing, worth a shot though. ill google something, thanks.

This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.

To see the cause I have to take a look at the dumps with the Debugging Tools for Windows.

Please start the Windows Explorer and go to the folder C:\Windows\Minidump. Next, copy the dmp files to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and post them here for John.

In the meantime, ensure your RAM is set to the correct voltage in the BIOS.

In windows, open command prompt with admin privileges and type (with space):

sfc /scannow

let it complete.

Update windows and your chipset drivers.

Scan your HDDs for errors.

Ok here are the dumps from the last fresh install i did.
Im doing the other stuff atm.

come to think of it the from the original isntallation, when the drivers were still working intermittently the first bsod i got was saying something about voltages and i could only boot again by going to fail safe defaults for the mobo. i don't have any of those logs though unfortunately

the memory in sandra says 1.5v which is what the product information says it was tested for.
thanks.

go into the bios and ensure its locked to 1.5, even 1.55 to be sure (slightly more is better), instead of auto.

does the error code mean i dont have the privileges to install any graphics drivers? this is proper weird.

is true even on a freshly formatted hard drive though.

i can install the intel drivers now.. they just don't do anything for some reason. if i install lucid virtu program thats supposed to let me switch between itnegrated and discrete gpu without changing cables then i get the same bsod upon next startup again.

i tried installing my discrete gpu drivers again. windows froze just befoer the desktop and next time i restarted, the computer turned itself off after a few seconds. then came back on saying id made changes to voltages, like i was overclocking or something.

one of my installations has stopped working mysteriously now. ive been switching between two, didnt want to risk big changes on the stable one. the one that stopped working wont even boot in safe mode, and heck even windows startup repair doesnt complete.

I forogt to mention around the smae time i started having problems my sound card stopped working.

guys thanks for the help, but its getting weirder. I think ill have to give up and take to a repair shop for testing. hope the new one across my road is good at testing.
