Can't Install OS on Hard Drive?

I'm doing a brand new build and I'm having trouble with installing Linux onto my hard drive. I have this MOBO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514

I get to the part of the installer that ask me what drive to install the OS and that is the problem....nothing shows up as far as a drive to pick from.

I've switch out hard drives. I've used different media (USB & DVD). I've tried Linux MINT and Ubuntu both are doing the same thing (not showing any drives to install to).

I have to problem booting to the media it just the installer is not seeing the hard drive to install to.

This is the funny part, I can see the hard drive in the BIOS.

Could you post a screen shot or picture of that part of the screen and post it?

For example, this was screen I got stuck on;

I just installed Windows 8.1Pro.
