Can't install Windows 10 technical preview!

I really need a new operating system on my spare desktop, I don't like ubuntu.
I installed Windows 10, opened the file, and burned it on the cd as instructed.
When I turned on my desktop, (after inserting the cd) all it said is that

D.

Windows logo

PC shuts down.

Press any key

3.

Windows logo

Shuts down.

What to do?


I downloaded the swedish version of w10 technical preview.

By 'opened the file' did you simply extract the contents or did you burn the image as the ISO itself?
