Can't log in to CF

So my problem is that I can't log in to Computer Forum on any other computer than my own. I don't know if its because this is the computer I created the account on or not, but that doesn't seem to me like it should be a problem. So anyway here's the story:

One day I was sitting in ComSci class and I happened to be finished the program we were working on at the time. So I decided that I might as well check out CF for a while. I can get to the site just fine, and then I put in my username and password to log in. It then goes to the screen before it redirects you back to the CF homepage like normal. The problem is that once it gets back to the homepage, I am not logged in at all. The homepage still looks the same as when you are not logged in, and in the top right corner it has the username and password fields instead of saying Welcome, gla3dr blah blah blah. I figure this could simply be because of the school's "Webwasher" on the network, so I don't really give it a second thought.

But today, I tried logging in using the other computer in my house, which is on the same modem as the one I normally use to log in to CF. At this point I put two and two together and, lo and behold, the "Webwasher" must not be the problem.
Any ideas?

No I don't think its the computeforum problem. I'll try your suggestion though Dirty. And you're in luck, it is relevant.:good:
 
Well adding "www." worked. Why didn't I think of that? Wow you were on topic AND you were right Dirty. Nice one lol.
Thanks for the help guys. Now I just have to wait till Wednesday to see if that'll work at school...

well technically buzz answered before i did, but you're welcome :D

i had a problem logging in a month or two ago and vizy93 suggested this to me, haven't had a single problem since.
 
Well you may not have been the first to answer, but your solution is the one that worked. I said "thanks guys" though so I meant it to everyone.

The weird thing is, I went to just "computerforum.com" first on a different computer and it wouldn't log in. So i added "www." to the front and it still didn't work. I had to close the browser and reopen it then go straight to www.computerforum.com to make it work. Its not like its a big deal or anything, I'm just wondering if anyone knows why?
