Arrrrgh, I messed up. I have 4 computers in this house and job. All are Window XP. In trying to speed up a slow one I tried some software that removed start up programs. On this particular computer it had a administrator longon screen that I find not necessary. My others don't so I thought I was just removing it. It did warn that if it was removed it, that "others" wouldn't be able to logon their accounts. I took that to mean if others have accounts they couldn't then logon, but didn't apply to my home computer. Now it won't let ME logon.
Anything I can do? still comes up in safe mode.
I was thinking about reinstalling windows,..would that work? Would I lose data?
