The DFI has a 790FX- The Gigabyte has a 770. The DFI has Tri Crossfire- The Gigabyte has 1 PCIe X16 no crossfire and the DFI has Overclocking features out of the wazoo. The comparable Gigabyte in price and features to the DFI would be the GA-MA790X DS4 but it still only has standard Crossfire at X16-X8

Asus has some nice boards for AM2+

Here's one I've been using for about 3 months I've loved it so far.
It has quad crossfire at 8x and dual crossfire at 16x.
