Can't open anything!?!

Hello!

So currently I'm experiencing issues with my computer. I boot it up and I can't open anything. I can still move my mouse and press buttons but whenever I try to open anything, it doesn't open. When I try to open Google Chrome to post here it appears in my taskbar but then disappears after 5 seconds or so. Then I plug out the cords to my computer and re-boot in Safemode with networking. I can now do everything fine and this is what is enabling me to post this now.
I downloaded Malwarebytes and problems were detected:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.70.0.1100

Database version: v2013.03.30.03

Windows 7 Service Pack 1 x64 NTFS (Safe Mode/Networking)

They malicious files were then deleted and I re-booted my computer normally but still the same problem. I then went back to safe mode with networking, so I could do another scan. Here were the results:

I'm really need of a quick response as I really want to compete in this Minecraft Survival Games thing with YouTubers tommorow morning. I'll be on this thread for the rest of the night so if you need any more information to find a fix for my problem, just ask.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Okay so something new has happened now which may make it easier to solve the problem. When I try to open files nothing will happen (as usual) but a little while after an error will come up saying:

D:\Sean\Desktop\example.jpg
Server Execution Failed.

Have you tried System Restore?
No I haven't. What does that do exactly? Wipes everything from my computer?

No, just restores it back to a certain date, you may or may not be able to do it based on whether restore points have been made manually or automatically. What was the last thing you installed?

The last thing I installed...is there anyway to check that for certain? Just today Windows automatically installed the drivers for my new wireless adapter (NetComm N150). Before then it was probably Java or Minecraft.

Download the digital river window 7 iso, burn it to DVD and boot from it.

Repair your install.

Save your files.

Then reinstall.

MerrrRRRRYYY Eaeasttter!!! :0)

I might try to solve the problem another way before doing that. How do you boot from that instead of my normal OS, how do I even do that? :P
and how do I "Repair my install"?

I'll be happy for easter as well if I can get this problem solved by tommorow morning!

Either boot from the Windows 7/8/Vista disk and chose start up repair, or...

To create a system repair disc

Open Backup and Restore by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Backup and Restore.

In the left pane, click Create a system repair disc, and then follow the steps. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Note

If you're prompted to insert a Windows installation disc, it means that the files needed to create the system repair disc can't be found on your computer. Insert a Windows 7 installation disc.

To use the system repair disc

Insert the system repair disc into your CD or DVD drive.

Restart your computer using the computer's power button.

If prompted, press any key to start the computer from the system repair disc.

If your computer isn't configured to start from a CD or DVD, check the information that came with your computer. You might need to change your computer's BIOS settings.

Choose your language settings, and then click Next.

Select a recovery option, and then click Next.

Microsoft.com

and go from there.

I tried the startup repair and after a little bit, I got this message:
Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically.

Then it asks me if I want to Send information to Microsoft to help with my problem, I said Send Information.

Then it says that my problem can't be solved, remove devices such as cameras and try to do it again, I removed my Wireless Adapter and I got the same result.

I'll try the System Repair Disk thing now.

The system repair disk does the same thing. I am running out of ideas now...

Have you tried System Restore? Go to Start, type in rstrui.exe and press enter.

Try if you can to restore to a few days before the problem began if you can. If not, it may be a case of reinstalling the OS. If you can get all of your files off through safe mode, it may be a better idea.

I've done System Restore and nothing seems to have changed. My computer just starts not resonding and messes up. Then I re-booted my computer in safe-mode again and I got this error:

System Restore did not complete successfully. Your computer's system files and settings were not changed.

Details:
An unspecified error occurred during System Restore. (0xc0000034)

That might be a last resort. This is sooo annoying, just the night before something important, this happens. It's a new computer as well and I can't believe I have to go through problems like this :(

Join the club :P I have had some very frequent and major problems with most of my PCs now. That is why I am buying a server from someone, and have two machines I constantly use. Is it an OEM built PC or a custom built, if it is OEM, and you have kept the factory OS, you may be able to do a non-destructive repair where it reinstalls elements of Windows, but does not actually affect your data. My computers have never been 'reliable', and both seem to go down at the same time. It is weird.

But yeah...try the System Restore, and see how you get on. I take it you are using this PC to post with?

Dude, back up. (in the interest of clarity, i mean for the OP to ensure he/she has his/her files backed up).

Download latest motherabord bios and drivers. Update BIOS after putting drivers on a USB stick for later use.

Test iso Windows 7 image.

Reinstall

40 mins later you're completely brand new.

I wish Voy was here so he could step this out for me :)

That's a shame. I really want my PC to be reliable!

As I said above, the system restore didn't work:
