Cant open my disc drive

Cant seem to open my disc drive, last night while the computer was on i bumped quite hard into the computer while i was cleaning around, have I damaged somehting? I have these specs for my DVD drive-

DVD+-R16/DVD-RE.DL4/DVD-RW6/DVD+RW8/CD-R48/CD-RW32/DVD-RAM5/CD-ROM/DVD-ROM16
 
there should be an emergency open button on there so you'll need a paper clip or the piece of metal that came with the drive to open it.
 
Add to that the emergency button is a hole in the front of the drive shove a paper clip end in there to push the draw open. This works if you have removed a cd or dvd drive and forgot to remove the disk.
