Can't play a DVD.

My mother (who is still a mentor to me, even though I'm an adult) recently bought me Superman Returns, not knowing about the lack of critical aclaim, only knowing that I liked the Christopher Reeve movies and Superman: The Animated Series, so she assumed I'd like this.

Maybe I will like it. Maybe I'll find it to be underrated (after all, I felt that way about Howard the Duck). Only problem is... I can't watch it!

When I try to play it on Windows Media Player, it says that I don't have the right drivers to bypass the copyright protection issues, even though I bought this computer after this movie came out.

Can someone give me a link to the drivers I need to download to be able to watch this DVD?

START > right click (MY) Computer > Properties > Device Manager.

Has it got a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside it?

His term of "Driver" was not correct and drivers have nothing to do with bypassing copyright. Looking in device manager won't do him any good. He should install the codec pack I posted and then post back if it doesn't work.

Do any OTHER DVD discs play properly? Or NO discs?
Which version of WMP are you using? Which OS? Some versions (like mine, WMP 10 on XP Home SP3) rely on a DVD decoder that is present in another piece of software.
In any case, to watch DVDs, I find VideoLAN works very well, and it's free. http://www.videolan.org/

It doesn't. All I did was download Classic Media Player.

Please don't suggest additional software to watch the DVD. I already have DVD-watching software. The problem is not lack of software; the problem is convincing the software I already have that the DVD was legally purchased.
 
Also, I'm pretty sure that it is indeed a driver. The reason I think that is because, whenever I try to play the DVD, I get this message:

"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."
