Can't reformat, driver error.

Whenever I try to reformat, I get an error stating I have to insert a CD/DVD or browse to a driver, but I do not know what exact driver I have to look for, and for what device? It's only happening this one time, I can reformat the other previous times, but not this.
 
What OS are you trying to install? Is the sata controller in the bios set as ahci/raid instead of IDE?
 
do you have a CD or DVD in the drive? Stupid question, I know, but you may have a digital copy and be trying to upgrade from Vista for instance. Shouldn't cause problems usually, but may have decided to be picky with you
