Can someone tell me the name of the program I used to have. It allowed you to remove an unwanted file on the next startup before windows started up.
 
Is it a file or startup that you are looking to remove? For preventing an app from starting along with Windows the msconfig utility is built right into WIndows. Usually an uninstall utility will be used to remove files like drivers for video and sound cards or various programs and their folders.
