Can't send/recieve on outlook

Recently, i havent been able to send or recieve any emails in Outlook Express. It come up with the following error message:

- The connection to the server has failed. Account: '*******', Server;
'*******', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

- The connection to the server has failed. Account: '*******', Server;
'*******', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I have no idea what the problem is. I had this happen once before, and a simple reset fixed it, but no such luck this time. The Account name and the Server are correct.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Could try removing your mail account and re-adding it

Try send/receive without the firewall.

Antivirus e-mail protection?

turned that off when the firewall came off

Maybe it's a problem with your mail server? Possibly contact your ISP or whoever hosts your mail?
