Cant type anything...

On my freind computer internet is working before but somehow, he cant type anything then click search, he even cant type anything on web site, e mail, and fourms. He can type other program like microsolf word, excel, gaming. Any idea how to fix this?

Edit: His using Window 2000 and using Internet Explore 5

internet explorer 5? sounds ancient. can he upgrade to something different? even just to see if the browser is having issues

I second that... Perhaps it has some sort of spyware or something impending it from working correctly. Try another browser. Windows 2000 should be able to run Firefox without any problem. You might have to find a slightly older version, but it should work

I can confirm that Firefox 3.0 works on Windows 2000.

Top firefox or netscape or even IE6/7.
I think it is a brower issue.
