Hi folks,
Decided to install Sim City 3000 today for a bit of nostalgia. Unfortunately there was a power cut when it was mid way through the install. It seemed that some of the files had been installed and some hadn't, upon running the game the opening cinematic would play but it would crash straight after.
I decided to uninstall the game and found the uninstall program but it wasn't installed correctly and windows couldn't open it.
Then i ran the set up on the disc and tried to uninstall there, the Uninstall Shield thing ran and got this message.
"Unable to locate the installation log file 'E:\Program Files\Marxis\SimCity3000\Uninst.isu'. Uninstallation will not continue."
So I hit continue and went to the control panel and tried to uninstall from there but the exact same thing happened.
My sister said she had this problem before so I let her have a go. After trying to manually delete every file in the directory there was no effect. Now I have no files in the directory (or recycling bin) and no obvious way to delete the game so I can reinstall.
Any ideas?
