Can't update MBAM or use Ninite

Got a customer's computer running Win7 that is having some weird issue.

Internet works fine, no problems, except both malwarebytes and ninite won't
update or download anything.

Steps taken:
Malwarebytes scan (Updated offline style)
ADWcleaner
Combofix
Complete internet repair
Reset firewall to default
Only AV on the computer is MSE
Disabled all startup items
No weird static IP/DNS settings. Changed to google DNS, same result
Safe mode with networking does the same thing.
Wired or wireless does not matter
SFC scan

What else can I do?
 
Well, ninite isn't really installed. Any ninite installer I get does not download at all.

Gives the error:

The TCP/IP protocol is not installed properly [0x80072f7f] ; 110

I uninstalled MBAM and reinstalled it, same problem. Error is:

PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (0, 0, Net Exception)
 
Run tdsskiller After opening it click on change parameters and check detect tdlsf file system and then start the scan and post the results.

Please download and run TDSSkiller

When the program opens, click on the start scan button.

TDSSKiller will now scan your computer for the TDSS infection. When the scan has finished it will display a result screen stating whether or not the infection was found on your computer. If it was found it will display a screen similar to the one below.

To remove the infections simply click on the Continue button and TDSSKiller will attempt to clean them or remove them.

After trying to clean them it will pop up with the results of the scan and its actions.

Please reboot the system if asked to do so.

After running there will be a log that will be located at the root of your c:\ drive labeled tdsskiller with a series of numbers after it example, C:\TDSSKiller.2.4.7_23.07.2010_15.31.43_log.txt

Please open the log and copy and paste it back here.

Edit: I'm leaving and won't be back until Monday, so if isn't fixed by then, I'll post again.

Yeah, I was doing research and found that you may have to reset winsock and reinstall tcp/IP. I'll post up instructions tomorrow, getting ready to go to work now.
 
Have you tryed to delete all invalid registry using Eusing free registry cleaner?

You can also try to REPAIR OS before attempting the reformat procedure...
