Can't Update Windows XP or Malwarebytes

I am thinking I may have a bug. For the last couple days I can't update either Windows XP (I get page not available) or Malwarebytes (MBAM_UPDATE_ERROR 12007,0

Could I have something blocking my connection?

Yes, most likely you have an infection blocking malwarebytes from updating. I'm at work on my blackberry right now and can't post specific instructions and won't be home for another 5 hours or so. You would need to run either rkill.scr or combofix and then most likely you would be able to update. I will post links for the download sites when I get home unless Respital or Gamblingman comes online before then.

I did a full scan with Avast and it found 3 high level threats about an hour ago. I probably have more I guess.

Download and run combofix.

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

• Then double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply

Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
