Capture card problems

Hi,

I'm having problems with Winfast TV2000 XP capture card.

I can't seem to get any s-video or composite signal from my VCR

I'm using a panasonic VCR with a scart - composite, and have also tried a scart - s-video.
No signal.

Any suggestions?
(I am able to watch V fine!)

is there any programs or software that came with it? if there is, open it up and see if you can switch between imputs. I have a WinTV, and they have a program that tunes through the channels, and you can switch imputs.
 
Do you get anything? Are you in the UK or something? Maybe the wrong setting(NTSC, you'd need PAL if you are in the UK...)

There are some decent free capture programs out there, too. ATV2000 is one I've used a couple times. I get MUCH better quality out of my cheap card, too, than what my card came with.
