oh since its the same ill need one for my media center computer and halo capture card so what should i get

You install them to the computer you want to record on, either via a PCI slot or USB. You can connect the Xbox up to it and record if you want, or any other video source.

If you want high quality video, you should purchase an HD TV tuner/capture card.

ok so do all of them go into pci slots? not black slot but the white ones?

and whats a good prog to edit and add effects to them?

Most of them go into the white PCI slot, but some are USB.

They should all come with programs that you can use to capture video, but to make effects and such you can either use Windows Movie Maker or Premiere Pro/Elements.

WMM will prolly be fine for editing and effects
can i add talking? or will that be fine with halo's mic?
