Capture pics from movie

Hello all
Is there some software that I can capture pics from a movie file/

VLC media player, there's a snapshot button.

If you want to just grab a snapshot while the video is playing, then use VLC like Starwarsman wrote.
If, however, you want to create a single .jpg image that contains thumbnail-size snapshot of an entire movie file, then use ImageGrabber II. You can adjust how many snapshots to take etc...
I believe versions I and II are freeware, and I think they came out with version 3, which costs 15 dollars and I guess does a couple more things.
Just search google for "image grabber II" if you are interested.
