capturing parts out of DVDs

Does anyone know what program coud you use to capture a part from a DVD, then save that part on your hardrive?
 
Yeh, you need to get yourself a DVD ripper program,

Examples include:

- ImTOO DVD Ripper
- Xilisoft DVD Ripper (My Fav)
- AoA DVD Ripper

Just do a google search, you will find heaps. Magority of them are good. Not really sure of any free versions. Only one i new off top of head is DivX DVD Ripper, not really sure if ot has everything or features you will want though.

Discussing ways to copy even parts of copyrighted DVD's is against the Forum Rules. Finding ways around the copy protection of disks is illegal, regardless of whether you are copying for personal use, or whether you are only copying a portion of the disk or not.

Yes, that is correct. But i will say i believe these programs are not illegal as they are made for the use on non copyright material. Once you start using them on copyrighted material that is ILLEGAL and i dont recomend or encourage this.
 
Absolutely, I thought I'd make it clear since it wasn't mentioned what types of DVD's were wanting to be ripped.
 
Yeh I just read over them. There was no mention thanks for point out.

These programs should be used only on non copyright material. Otherwise you would be break law and the software developers eula.
