Car Alarm Interference

Anyone ever experience a loss of wireless internet connection from a car alarm being set nearby?

I recently had a Viper car alarm installed in my vehicle and noticed whenever I park in my garage, I lose my internet connection.

Can anyone help me with this? Perhaps a special router out there or maybe I shoud have my car alarm settings changed???

By the way, my alarm does have a proximity sensor installed and I already tried bypassing it but that didnt work. Also, I tried disarming it all together.

Any suggestions please. Im desperate.

No... never heard it... maybe you lose signal when the car is the garage.....

maybe have a link (access point) in the garage...

Yes, thats exactly whats happening. How do I get around it?

Try changing the channel on the router, I know on my Linksys I can do that to get the best signal if interference from an unknown source.
